A nice easy challenge this month at Craft Individuals, clean and simple, I have used one of the new stamps from Crafty Individuals CI 458 Home Sweet Home, I stamped it on a painted background which I created with Fresco paints and a mini roller, the main image I embossed and layered up a couple of the elements for added dimension, and the flowers are from The Hobby House. I can't believe that September has already arrived and the children go back to school, guess Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye.Off this week and next week looking after my Mum whilst my sis goes on holiday, just managed to settle her down whilst I post this.........I don't want to get old with Dementia........no fun at all, might have chance to do some challenges now.
Afternoon to you all, what a lovely few sunny days we had at the begining of the week, I am Grand children free this week so it's lovely to have a smidge of free time for playing in my craft room, a few weeks ago I finished this album which was inspired by Dorota Kopec I used just a couple of Dylusion sprays and stamps from Heartfelt Creations and Crafty Individuals, the full list of stamps are at the bottom of the post.
Evening peeps again, another two stamps and cards featuring the lovely new stamps from Crafty Individuals which have a whopping 25% off. Again I've kept the cards simple just using the stamps to create the background and then layering up this sweet image.
Awwwww my first Christmas card of the year, the robin was stamped onto paper from the Christmas paper pad, the baubles I cut out of the same paper pad added glossy accents and sprinkled glitter onto them.
Evening peeps this week sees the release of some lovely new stamps from Crafty Individuals, and they are on offer with a whopping 25% off. I've made some CAS cards with the following images. The backgrounds was made using Fresco paints with a mini roller building up layers and then I spritzed with pearl glimmer mist for added sparkle.
It's ages since I have blogged, it's not that I haven't been crafting it's just that I seem to run out of time, to get round to blogging. What with work, looking after my Mum and Grandson on my days off time just slips by. Don't know about you but I wish some good news would come on the telly for a change, and where has the sun gone I was looking forward to seeing my garden in bloom but as soon as the roses started to come out they are now all dying because they are too wet.......definitely in need of some blue sky and sun.
I have been having a play using some of the new Crafty Individuals stamps and using Dyluson sprays in pink and lime green for the background, I love how the colours mix and change colour so that you end up with several shades. The flowers are made using the Heartfelt Creations rose stamp layered up. The list of stamps used is at the bottom of this post.
Evening fellow bloggers, well we are half way through May, and we have had some lovely sunny days along with lots of other weather thrown into the mix. I have been playing with one of the new stamps from Crafty Individuals, CI 452 Natures Beauty, love this one as it can be cut up as well as layering parts of the design I have gold embossed the image and coloured with watercolour twinkling H20s. The frame I got for a £1, its started life as grey, I used black gesso and dry brushed aqua paint and then added treasure gold to highlight the details on the frame.
Don't forget you still have a couple of weeks to enter the challenge at Crafty Individuals, the theme is anything goes.
Afternoon fellow bloggers, can't believe the last time I shared a card was at Easter, what happened to April, although my mojo has taken a dip of late, I did go to Paris for a weekend when it was the Version Scrap show, thoroughly enjoyed myself but so wish I spoke French as the show was a real treat for scrap bookers, most of the stalls had make and take projects to do and there were some lovely projects being made.Mind you it was seriously busy with queues to get on the stands and then another to pay, it was just how a show should be, I picked up some great magazines although they are in French they have some really good instructions for layouts in fact I have subscribed to one called Histoire de Pages.
Todays card is for the challenge at Crafty Individuals, the theme is ......anything goes. Don't forget to use a product from Crafty Individuals and you will get a code fr a whopping 25% off your next purchase. I have used one of the new stamps CI 450 called inky borders, I love this little film strip, which is one of three stamps in the set. I have used mini images from the image book People and Places which is on offer at just £1.45 for inside the film strip and the little frame. For the main background I have stencilled and spritzed adding micro beads and thread for extra texture, actually the mica sprays I picked up at the French show for just 3.50 euros, a bargain. The background behind that layer was brayed with fresco paints and the I used a script stamp to randomly stamp over.
